Platforms for data manipulation and visualization

4CAT

Research tool to analyse and process data from online social platforms

The tool makes the capture and analysis of data from online social platforms accessible to people through a web interface, without requiring any programming or web scraping skills. In 4CAT, you create a dataset from a given platform according to a given set of parameters; the result of this (usually a CSV file containing matching items) can then be downloaded or analysed further with a suite of analytical "processors", which range from simple frequency charts to more advanced analyses such as the generation and visualisation of word embedding models. It currently supports the following platforms: 4chan, 8kun, Bitchute, Parler, Reddit, Telegram, Twitter API.

Agora

Agora Ecosystem is a Data Science Marketplace infrastructure project from DIMA (TU- Berlin) and IAM (DFKI)

A unified data infrastructure for building ecosystems that bring together data, algorithms, models, and computational resources so that users can combine them to ease the development of novel applications.

Gephi

Network exploration and visualization

Interactive visualization and exploration software for all kinds of networks and complex systems, dynamic and hierarchical graphs. It allows one to represent graphs, manipulate their structures, shapes and colors to reveal hidden properties of data.

Graph Commons

Graph collaborative platform

Graph Commons is a collaborative platform for mapping, analyzing and publishing data-networks. It empowers people and organizations to transform their data into interactive maps and untangle complex relations that impact them and their communities.

Open Refine

Cleaning and transforming data

Free, open source power tool for working with messy data and improving it. It allows for cleaning data, transforming it from one format into another, reconciling and matching data, and extending it with web services and external data.

OpenLayers

A high-performance, feature-packed library for all your mapping needs

OpenLayers is a high-performance, feature-packed library for creating interactive maps on the web. It can display map tiles, vector data and markers loaded from any source on any web page. OpenLayers has been developed to further the use of geographic information of all kinds. It is completely free, Open Source JavaScript, released under the BSD 2-Clause License.

Palladio

Complex historical data visualization

Application for cleaning and exploring complex, temporal and spatial data. It allows for analyzing and visualizing relationships across time.

Prodigy

An annotation tool powered by active learning

Prodigy is a scriptable annotation tool so efficient that data scientists can do the annotation themselves, enabling a new level of rapid iteration.

RAWGraphs

Easy vector-based visualization

Open source web tool for the visual representation of complex data. RAW Graphs aims at providing a missing link between spreadsheet applications and vector graphics editors. It allows one to manipulate spreadsheets and create custom vector-based visualizations on top of the D3.js library.

Triply

Linked-data knowledge graphs

Triply aims to simplify the use of linked-data knowledge graphs in practical and large-scale applications. We focus on improving the experience of both the developer and the user for working with knowledge graphs and believe in the benefits of following open standards.

Voyant Tools

Text analysis and visualization

Web-based text analysis, reading and visualization environment. It is a scholarly project that is designed to facilitate reading and interpretive practices for digital humanities students and scholars as well as for the general public.
